I dunno what the hell is wrong with me, other than that it’s making me just sick enough to be pretty much useless (and have some *amazing* fever dreams) and not sick enough to be satisfied with staying in bed all day without getting bored and whiny.
Content will be light.

Just be glad leeches have gone out of favour.

Some 25 years ago I had a bout with something that gave me ‘fever dreams’ about a SERIOUSLY bizarre ‘fever dream’ I had watched on a TV show that day.
*THAT* was an interesting night.

This pretty much describes the last two weeks of my life. Just substitute rotator cuff surgery for ‘dunno’ and narcotic space out for ‘*amazing* fever dreams’.
Blargh indeed….

Sorry you’re sick, LabRat. Put your feet up, rest and relax, plenty of clear liquids etc. etc…
I hope you start feeling better soon!

I hope you feel better soon. See if you can keep a notepad by the bed to write down your dreams too; help the boredom and amuse us later

Feel better, and try to enjoy the dreams at least!

I’m with Heather and company. Hope you feel better, soon.

Jim’s comment is another reminder that you wanted to post on how bleeding may actually have provided benefits because bacteria need iron even more than we do.
Instead of posting, though, please feel better.

Damned sorry to hear it. It’s nice to just give in, once in awhile, and admit to being sick. I did this for the first time in two years, last week. Oh, I still went to work, but upon arriving at home I doped myself with Nyquil and refused to be of any use whatsoever.
But when you’re in the In Between stage, where you can’t be bed-bound… that really sucks.

Get better soon, I need some quality reading

Hope you feel better soon. Last fever dream I had involved Kate Beckinsale and a stolen Aston Martin.
I sent an you an email about this show on NatGeo that I thought you might be interested in when you get back to normal
