On the grocery store magazine rack, one of the article teasers in Men’s Health: “SHED MONEY”

I thought this was unusually honest for a fitness magazine, until I peered behind the bottom rack and saw the last word underneath was “STRESS”.

I think the pitch goes something like this:

Money is stressful. Really stressful. Balancing checkbooks, paying credit cards, setting aside for retirement, nights out on town, talking to bankers…

You need a break from all that stress. Now sit down and let me tell you how to take a break from all that stress.

If you give the money to me, I’ll handle the stress…

I figured it was an article about a guy who just couldn’t figure out how he was going to pay for his dream shed. It’s got a wet bar! And a big-screen TV! And comfy chairs! Oh, and there’s a lawnmower over in the corner, too!

    LOL, yep TRUTH! :-)

    Brilliant.

I’m trying to imagine what the article looked like. “While standing on a Bosu ball, holding two light dumbbells at your sides for balance, start a company that produces solar panels and apply to the federal government for a guaranteed loan…”
