You Hear That, Barry?

That’s the sound of people already getting seriously fed up.

Porkulon the Back Scratcher was a bad idea, Barry.
Killing independent oversight of government spending was a really bad idea, Barry. Only folks in Chicago seem to like Chicago politics, and it doesn’t seem like that many of them are thrilled with it either. You think the rest of the nation will stamp “Good job!” on that bullshit?
Making the folks who can do math and afford their homes pay for douchebags who intentionally got in way over their heads was a bad idea, Barry.

Listen to that, Barry. Your little lapdogs are already getting nervous. They might have chuckled after saying “Call the National Guard,” but there’s fear in those voices, Barry.

You’re seriously pissing us off, Barry, and you haven’t even been in the big chair for a month.

Maybe you should reconsider some of your “good ideas,” Barry. Especially any that might involve disarming the people you’ve already pissed off with your taxpayer looting spree. Just sayin’, Barry.

The National Guard is us, not a Praetorian Guard belonging to B HO. They pay taxes too. What makes him think they sill show up at his call?

  2. Kristopher Says:

They’ll show. They might not be facing the right way, though.

Ask the KGB what happened when they tried to discipline the CA in front of the Duma. Might be a clue there.

Maybe Barry should consider that the whole “I wanna be the president” thing was just a bad idea gone wrong and go home.

As for disarming the people. Well, they can have my new shotgun ‘Bruce’ over my dead… well, you know ;)

  4. Kristopher Says:

“Cold dead hands” is bad tactics.

If it gets to that point, see to it that the SWAT team raids an empty house.

Instinct: I figure he’ll realize eventually that he doesn’t really want the office — my original guess was around the 2-year mark, but it could come much earlier. Whether he’ll go home, or take a permanent surfing vacation, or go off on a multi-year goodwill tour of the world is another question.
Of course, when Barry wanders off, that leaves us with the Biden Regency for the rest of his term.

    *sigh*

I already lived through the Ventura administration. It was fun for the first couple of years, at least. I think the problem this time around is that we’d already worked through the first couple of years before he even took office.

Trust me — the temper tantrums are going to suck, big-time.

  7. Instinct Says:

Squid, I’m sorry you had to go through that.

If the temper tantrums are public though, and caught on film, that might make them worth it - for a little while at least.
