We blog more-or-less anonymously- it’s not that difficult to figure out who we are, but we’re not looking for total anonymity so much as we’re looking to avoid one specific person- so since our e-mail addresses are simply our names, we don’t post them on the site.

Well, now we have a contact e-mail: if you simply must get in touch with us and not in the comments, ping nerdsatomic -at- gmail.com. Yes, atomicnerds was taken for some reason…

I recently moved my whole blog email domain to gmail. now I’m “name”@snarkybytes.com and it’s actually on gmail, but without needing the @gmail.com part.

You might look at doing that with the atomicnerds.com email domain.

Then you can use whatever names you want.

    Oh, and it’s free.

Oh, and I’ll take to opportunity to push encrypted email. If you post your public key on the website people can use it when they email you.

I”m pretty much in the same situation-I’m not trying for complete anonymity, just trying to prevent searches on my real name from potential employers and a few people from turning up this name.

I second using Google Apps for Domains to set up mail. According to Google they may start charging, but those who sign up now will remain free.
