Little Debbie brand hot dog buns are highly fire-resistant, at least when stale.

Further experiments to follow.

OK then. Are you going to see if they are corrosion resistant? My guess is that they won’t dissolve in weak acids, which is why they have little to no nutritional value.

  2. Mike James Says:

I tried the cream cheese Streusels, and I don’t care about the nutritional value. I think they put opium in them, or something.

Hostess? I remember something called Hostess, in the before times, when houses and cities would have light without fire. But I am very old now.

Well, as my favorite uncle says, if you’re not careful you’ll learn something knew every day…

Promise me you’ve seen the dissolving peep experiments?

Are they as fire-resistant as low-fat Twinkies?

Needs more fire… and more pics.

Application of strong oxidizers to baked goods is encouraged.

  9. Tatyana Says:

Possible application: lining of the walls in back-of-house in bakeries, grocery shops and hot-dog joints.
Saves construction costs and complies with ICC Fire Code, LEED MR2 (waste management credit) and LEED MR4 (regional recycling within 500 miles from manufacturing site)…

Are you burning water again instead of boiling it?

Pics or it didn’t happen. Seriously, you have GOT to give us more info!

    Uh, follow-up?
