Project Ouch: The Final Product For Now
Irradiated by Stingray
Picture is below the cut just in case seeing part of a man’s butt (just the side) would offend anyone’s delicate sensibilities. And the pics are a little big.

Pardon the A&D ointment on the still-fresh portion. It was either grease-shine or wait until it finished scabbing off next week. To answer the obvious questions in most likely order:
1. Yes.
2. I wasn’t keeping track.
3. Of that either.
4. Because it’s cool.
And since LabRat has had pictures of her halfsleeve up before, but mine hasn’t made an appearance that I’ve noticed, here’s a bonus couple pics:

And there you have it. Not exactly where I expected to find myself some years after I got a C5 Corvette logo on my other shoulder shortly after my 18th birthday, but every step of the way has been awesome, even the parts that sucked. Mark at Custom Tattoo is the man responsible for this, and responsible for more camaraderie and laughter along the way than I can tell here.

I enjoy that the hammerhead has tattoos of his own.

Nemo and pit hair, that’s why I come here.

Anyone that would tattoo a shark is just mean. What? It’s a tattoo of a shark with a tattoo? Well, that’s OK then.

That is a cool tattoo!

As amazing as promised! TWO deep- sea octopi, right?
What is the link to LabRat’s sleeve?

You have a dumbo octopus on your butt! DUUDE! That is SO COOL!

Steve- my half-sleeve is the pictorial illustration in this rather old post. I didn’t put up a view of the inner part, though, which I may do later today.
Holly- I feel like buying you an icecream or something for recognizing the species. I lobbied for it on the grounds that the dumbo octopus is the deep sea’s only truly cute species; it’s like finding a Hello Kitty character wandering around lost in the Cthulhu mythos.

LabRat: wonderful! Emerald tree boa? (Or the identical python?)
September 11th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
Yep, emerald tree boa. On the inside of the arm, the central figure is a hyacinth macaw.
